16/2/12
Wow 3 more days to go of our 21 days season of fasting. I am looking forward to eating again after 21 days of juice and water but I am also really enjoying this intimacy with God. I have had more new revelations, and a clarity of spiritual thought than I have since last time I fasted. It's like, intellectually my mind is slowed down but spiritually my mind is going a million miles an hour. I hope that makes sense. When you have been fasting for some time the ability to discern things in the spirit is heightened. To understand God's will and have him communicate purpose so clearly. This last few weeks has been a very special time for me. I am sure it has been for you also.
Isaiah 58:6
"Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?
Fasting also breaks the yoke of natural thinking, and allows us to access new realms of thought in God.
We will be celebrating the end of our 21days of prayer and fasting this coming Sunday with a bang. We have guest ministers Rod and Kerry Christianson from "Streams of Living Waters" prophetic college. They are an awesome couple who move powerfully in the prophetic. I have asked them to flow in the prophetic as much as the Lord leads. Come ready for a very special morning in Him.
PRAYER AND WORSHIP
This Friday night is our final prayer and worship night of our 21 day fast.
Let's come and pray for breakthrough and worship Him for the great things He is doing in our lives, our church and our region.
7.00pm at the church. Love to see you there.
CHAPLAINS
On Sunday the 26th of Feb we have 3 of our local school chaplains coming to be part of our service. We will hear their vision for our local schools and hear about ways we can partner with them to touch our region. This will be a strategic service for further advancement of the body of Christ ministering together in our local area. Come along and be inspired for community transformation.
CARE
Please continue to bring items for our care cupboard as we have sending out regular parcels at the moment. We have been able to help 2 families in serious need this week which has been a great blessing to those in need.
BUILDING NEEDS
Thanks so much to those who have volunteered to assist with cleaning our buildings. You are a great blessing. We could probably do with a couple more cleaners if you would be available to serve in this way. Also we have some practical needs around the church that would be great to get knocked off if you would be able to help. We have some shelving system to erect for behind the stage and some chairs to repair for Kids Church. If you would be able to assist with these matters it would be greatly appreciated.
BIBLE READING
At the moment we are reading through Leviticus which is an amazing book of laws and regulations for Gods old covenant people. This book gives you a very good insight into the level of specific service and sacrifice and purity God required of His people. Can you actually imagine having to perform all these rituals and practices in your daily life. Many of them are for very practical reasons but they also highlight Gods absolute requirement for holiness. Thankfully Jesus through the sacrifice of His blood paid our penalty for sin once and for all. By faith we receive what the Israelites worked so hard for and never managed to achieve in the flesh. We have so much to be thankful for in Jesus. Our response should be a new life lived before him in purity by faith. He is so worthy of our worship.
Gal 3:10-14
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does
not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them." But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for "the just shall live by faith." Yet the law is not of faith, but "the man who does them shall live by them." Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Heb 10:19-22
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hi Church
Wasn’t Sunday an awesome time. It was a great blessing to have Ps Joel with us and the ministry that he brought. I got so much out of his visit. I hope you did too. Over the next few months we have an amazing amount of very high quality ministry coming through the church. These are great opportunities to invite your friends and family to come and be blessed. On the 19th of Feb we are having a very special fast breaking celebration with Ps Rod and Ps Kerrie Christianson ministering. Ps Rod and Ps Kerrie head up “Streams of Living Waters” prophetic college here in Perth. They are connected to a world-wide organisation of prophetic colleges training the body of Christ in Spirit ministry. Next Sunday they will minister and move in the prophetic as God leads. This would be one you would not want to miss.
FRIDAY PRAYER AND WORSHIP
This Friday night (Tomorrow) we will be continuing with our prayer and worship nights as part of our 21 days of prayer and fasting. I hope you enjoyed last week’s prayer night. I had several people tell me they were really blessed by it. This week will be very special. We will spend 30min’s or so in Korean style corporate prayer, (if you don’t know what that is come and check it out) leading straight into a feast of worship lead by Nick and Jo. If you have never enjoyed Nick and Jo’s unique style of worship and soaking ministry you need to come along for the ride. Come ready to encounter and enjoy the Lords presence.
CHAPLAINS
On Sunday the 26th of Feb we have 3 of our local school chaplains coming to be part of our service. We will hear their vision for our local schools and hear about ways we can partner with them to touch our region. This will be a strategic service for further advancement of the body of Christ ministering together in our local area. Please don’t forget to continue to pray for David as he pushes forward as chaplain of Comet Bay College. David is one of our front line soldiers, please keep him in your prayers.
CARE
We have recently been made aware of a family in Secret Harbour who are in a serious jam. During the week we were able to send them a food parcel which is the first real food (other that whatever you can make with flour e.g. pancakes ) for some time. They are new to Australia so they are not eligible for welfare and have fallen on hard times due to work situations. This is a genuine case of people going without proper nutrition in OUR region. That should never happen. Over the next few weeks we plan to make sure they are fed and see what we can do with lining up work. With this in mind please continue to bring food items into the care cupboard so we are able to meet their immediate needs. Please contact Mel or Angela for more details.
Matt 25:37-46
"Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Matt 5:13-16
"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

1/2/12
We desperately need some volunteers to clean our buildings on a weekly basis. This is something you could do at any time that suits you. Also it can be something you can commit to for a season not feeling like you have to do it for the rest of your life. A couple of months on the cleaning team would be a great blessing. Let me know if you can.

26/1/12
Wow! Influences Conference was soooo good. It was the most powerful, life changing, uplifting, anointed, God filled, thing I've been to for quite some time. The presence of God sweeping across thousands of worshiping believers was amazing. God really showed up and moved in a powerful way. The level of teaching was second to none. I find that exposure to such events lifts the lid on our understanding and mind sets. It's so easy to slip into thinking and religious ways that are comfortable for us. It's very hard to explain but encounters like I have had over the last 2 days takes you far beyond comfortable thinking and well into the arena of next level faith.
Congratulation to those who made it along. God will have imparted to your spirit and you will be ready for a new level in Him.
21 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING
This Sunday is the start of a great season of breakthrough for us as a church. We are about to powerfully move things in the spirit realm in the start of this year. Both in our church, our community and in your lives.
What is your expectation? Have you considered how this can change your life and those around you? It's time to put down the desire of the flesh and move into the arena of the Spirit. It's time to stand up!
Isa 58:6-9
"Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.' "If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
This Sunday we will be circulating a prayer and fasting roster so we can cover the full 21days with as many of us involved as possible. Please consider what God is calling you to do. I would encourage you to go beyond what you have done before. For example if you have never been able to fast before commit yourself to 3 or 4 separate days over the 21 day period where you just drink juice or even better just water. If you have fasted for 1 day before commit to a couple of 2 day stints. I would encourage those who are experienced fasters to fast the full 21 days on water or juice.
Fasting is a powerful tool for the new testament believer. Unfortunately our capacity as Western Christian is low, we are far too interested in the comfort of the flesh. This is an opportunity to let your flesh know who is in charge or your life. Let's take some ground in the Spirit together.
Rom 8:12-14
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors - not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

I will put the air conditioners on nice and early on Sunday so it's cool in our building.

BIG NEWS:
THIS COMING SUNDAY THE 5TH OF FEB WE HAVE GUEST SPEAKER PS JOEL CHELIAH. Ps Joel is the Senior Minister of Centre point Church one of the fastest growing and most dynamic churches in the State. Sorry for the late notice but some plans changed and He is available for this coming Sunday. Tell your friends and family, you don’t want to miss this one. Be ready for a great meeting.
How are you all doing with our 21 days of fasting. This is a great opportunity for us all to pull on the power of Heaven for great breakthrough in us, our church and our region. The key is doing what we can and believing God to stretch us in our personal potential. When I first started fasting 1 day was a major stretch for me. It’s like eating seemed to be constantly on my mind. Anything you do in the Kingdom God teaches you as you go. He transforms us by constantly challenging and teaching us to go that little bit further. Have you noticed the voice of the flesh as you fast. That is the one that is telling you, “You can’t do it”, “ I’ll do it next time” or “Just one Tim Tam”. Fasting is a great opportunity for your Spirit to tell your flesh what to do. Remember the flesh will always drag you away from the purposes of the Spirit filled life. (Romans 8:6-7). It’s not about having to fast for 21days but hearing from God and then following through with what He has challenged you to do. If you have never fasted before then 1 day a week would be a great breakthrough.
We are fasting and praying for the following areas:
· Breakthrough in you
· Breakthrough in our church
· Breakthrough in our region
EXCITING TIMES AHEAD:
Over the next few months we have some amazing things happening at Mid-Coast.
· Prayer and worship nights every Friday night during our 21 day fast.
· Christian movie or DVD teaching nights on Sunday nights during our 21 day fast.
· To celebrate the end of our 21 day period of fasting and prayer we have Rod and Kerrie Christianson from “Rivers of Living waters” ministry coming on the 19th of Feb. Rod and Kerrie are excellent ministers in the prophetic and power so make sure you don’t miss that one.
· Local chaplain’s blessing service in Feb
· Ps David Williams of Forerunner ministries will be our guest minister in April. Ps David is also an awesome man in the Spirit.
· Ps John Warwick who is head of the ACC in WA will be ministering on the 18th of March.
· Also we have Ps Neil and Ps Sue Earl from Sydney returning in March to minister in our service and to our leadership team. Ps Neil has been a great father to Denice and I over a period of many years. His wisdom and insight is amazing.
WELCOME:
Welcome to John and Susan Fletcher who have recently joined the Mid-Coast family. It is great to have you with us. We all hope you will enjoy and be blessed throughout this coming year.
READ THROUGH YOU BIBLE IN A YEAR
Wow! We are a twelfth of the way through already. I hope you are enjoying reading Exodus and the gospel of Matthew. If you are interested in understanding all the symbology of the materials and procedures of the wilderness tabernacle in Exodus there is a great book called “Let us draw near” by Judson Cornwell. This book explains so well all the meaning and purpose behind the unusual objects and materials that God instructed them to use. It’s a good read.
If you haven’t started reading through your bible in a year it’s never too late to start. Just pick it up from where we are and come back to the bit you missed next year. It’s such a blessing to be all on the same page.
Next Week’s readings are:
Monday: Exodus:29-30 Matt:23:23-39
Tuesday: Lev: 1-3 Matt:24:1-28
Wednesday: Lev:4-5 Matt:24: 29-51
Thursday: Lev:6-7 Matt:25:1-30
Friday: Lev:8-10 Matt:25:31-46
Saturday: Lev:11-12 Matt:26:1-25
Sunday: Lev: 13 Matt:26:26-50
Don’t forget to invite your friends this Sunday

19/1/12
I hope you are having a blessed week. God is really doing something in the area of His word in this season. It is like He has started a momentum on the earth for believers to be freshly equipped by the written word. I have talked to pastors this year who have also felt prompted to raise the level of personal commitment to reading and absorbing His word. They are also encouraging their churches to be committed to reading the word this year.
I have really noticed the value of reading the word through together already. We are in the same place at the same time. I am hearing things prayed in the prayer meetings, read out in the service or revelations being spoken about that we are all experiencing together. To read our bibles through in a year together is working out to be such a blessing. Our home group studies will also be based around what our weekly reading have been in the prior week. It's great to be on the same page, so to speak.
If you haven't been at church this year and haven't heard about this you can join us at any date and then just catch up the bit you missed next year. If we could all do this together image the impact it would have. Most of our church is doing this now so don't miss out, join in as soon as you can.
Reading lists are available at church or next week's readings will be on the bottom of this email.
Ps 1:1-3
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
What a great promise!
INFLUENCES CONFERENCE:
Influences conference starts next Monday night and runs through till Wednesday at the Burswood Theatre. Register for the conference or come to the free night meetings, the worship and speakers will be great.
Glen Berteau is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Temple Worship Centre in Modesto, California and author of "The Modesto Revival, When God Shakes a City", his account of the period when 33,000 people made decisions for Christ at their church over a 28 day period.
Benny & Wendy Perez pastor The Church at South Las Vegas. They are incredibly passionate about Jesus and are real, relevant and very responsive to the needs of people. God has used their ministry to bring revival and genuine transformation in the hearts and lives of countless thousands.
Dr Chand's passion is mentoring, developing and inspiring leaders to break all limits - in ministry and the marketplace. Speaking regularly at leadership conferences, churches, corporations, ministerial conferences, seminars and other leadership development opportunities, Dr Chand also personally consults, mentors and coaches some of the world's largest church pastors.
Pastor Ashley Evans is the Senior Pastor of Paradise Community Church, Australia. This vibrant church is one of Australia's largest and most successful churches, ministering to thousands of people across its five campuses in Adelaide and Perth each week. Ashley is recognised for his wisdom and leadership and is a true leader of leaders.
21 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING:
On Sunday the 29th of Jan we start our 21days of prayer and fasting. This will be a time when we will come together as a church for a focussed season of pushing into God for His purposes for 2012. It will be a time of birthing and breakthrough with some very special event taking place. Our fasting season will be completed on the 19th of Feb when we will have a special breakthrough service with guest ministers. The plan is to have fasting taking place throughout the full 21 days. We will be circulating a roster where you can commit to a period you feel God is calling you too fast for.
Some of us will fast for the full 21 days and you can do what you feel God asking you to do. Fasting and praying together is a powerful thing to do to unlock His kingdom purpose in our lives and over our region.
FAITH PLEDGES:
As you will be aware we need to start paying the lease on Unit 5. This building is vital for our kids and Youth and the future development of Mid-Coast. At the moment we are not taking enough money to cover the lease cost so I have felt to call a faith pledge season. I have personally pledged to give $100 per week above my normal tithes and offerings till the end of April. This will take faith and belief that God will provide and that's what a faith life is all about. I would ask you to get before God and consider what He would like you to pledge for a season. Every bit helps so let's be like the boy with the loaves and fishes and give to Jesus for His multiplication miracle. Details for giving are on our offering envelopes and would need to be paid into the "Building Fund" marked "Faith Pledge".
Welcome to David and Victor who have recently been added to our email update family. Make sure you get to know these outstanding men of God and embrace them into the Mid-Coast clan. Great to have you with us David and Victor. I pray that your time at Mid-Coast be a fruitful and blessed journey in all God has planned for you. Be very blessed.
Have a great week and enjoy the transformation of His word.
Love you all

Hi Again
Jo was praying and felt God encourage Her with this word regarding or 21 days of prayer and fasting. I think it is for us all. Enjoy
He said "Look at what I can do in one week, imagine what I can do in three weeks" I immediately went to Genesis 1
He spoke to me the following : He took me through the week In relation to the time during the fast and what He can do during it for us; I think it is for me but thought I would share anyways....
1 darkness. Spirit of God wants to hover over our places of darkness and speak light into them .
2 a firmament in the midst of the waters dividing water from the waters and named heaven, earth, seas. God wants to divide between flesh and spirit and put things in place in our lives and establish clarity or show us areas he wants us to operate or serve/work in and clearly 'what goes where' who is meant to do what and when. (hope that made sense)
3 earth yielded and brought forth good. He wants us to do the same.
4 stars, seasons. He wants to tell us about the season we are in, talk to us about our times and seasons for our lives
5 abundance of living creatures. Abundance of life and fruitfulness and multiplication.
6 man created. He wants to deepen our relationship with him and also to speak to us about how we have been given dominion
7 finally rest. He will show us how to rest in Him and how it is a place of blessing and sanctification.

5/1/12
Hi Church
It was great to catch up with so many of you this last Sunday. It was only just over a week but it seems so long since our Christmas eve service. I hope that you had a very blessed Christmas/New year season. I am believing that 2012 is a great year of breakthrough and blessing for YOU!
At the start of each year is the perfect opportunity to make some firm decisions about moving forward in God. My greatest prayer for this year would be to see you all launch into a higher level of loving and serving our Lord. God has promised in James 4:8
”Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”.
That is an open invitation to encounter Him this year. The rest is up to us.
One of the ways you can open the door to Him is by allowing His word to transform you. This year we have decided to read through our bibles from start to finish. I believe we all should do that at least once in our lives. I have abandoned my present bible reading plan to join with you all and to do this together in 2012. If you haven’t started already just join in at whatever day you choose to start and you can catch up the bit you missed at the start of next year. I have listed next week’s scripture readings at the bottom of this email and this weeks were on the bottom of last week’s update. Just join in and let’s take this journey of transformation and discovery together. It may as well be this year.
HELP NEEDED
We need a couple of volunteers to help with the cleaning of our buildings. We need 2 people to clean every second week and it can be done when suits you. During the day or at night. If you would like to commit for even a short season would be a great blessing. Don’t feel you have to do it for the rest of your life. Let’s present our buildings with an excellence fitting for the kingdom of God.
VISION SUNDAY
We have a great year ahead of us at Mid-Coast, God is ready starting to speak to me regarding some exciting new things. We will be having a vision Sunday Service on the 28th of Jan where you will hear about things happening this year. Don’t miss that one.
PRAYER AND FASTING SEASON
We are starting the year with a season of 21days of prayer and fasting. This will also start on the 28th of Jan and finish in a big celebration on Sunday the 19th of Feb. We will fast in shifts so the whole 21 day season is covered with fasting and prayer. You can commit to do a day or so or the full 21 days in a partial of full fast. We will be running special prayer events over that season and lots more. Stay tuned for details.
Our thoughts are with you Glenn as you go interstate for your family funeral. Take a special blessing from your Mid-Coast family.
Thank you all for being such a great church, we are honoured to be your pastors. See ya Sunday.

I hope you have had a very blessed Christmas. It's come and gone already, wow how the time flies! Denice and I had a nice time. We spent Christmas day with Denice's Dad and Dan and Paige came over for dinner which was great. I hope you enjoyed your day.
NEW YEARS EVE:
Mark and Mel and Denice and I were planning on meeting at the Mandurah waterfront for the early part of New Year's Eve. We would love you to join us if you can make it. We usually bring or buy some dinner at 6 ish and eat it on the lawn and stay for the 9.00pm fireworks display. It is always a great festive atmosphere with live music before the fireworks. Text or call Mark or I to find us between 6pm and 9pm New Year's Eve on Mandurah Foreshore park.

READ YOUR BIBLE IN A YEAR:
This Sunday we are starting our "Read your bible in a year" initiative. The word of God is the only written foundation for our lives as Christians, so we need to know what it says. Imagine going to heaven and not being able to tell Isaiah or Amos that you read their book. As Christians we all should have read the bible through at least once in our lives. Why not make it this year! The word transforms us so let's make 2012 a year that propels us into our God given destiny.
SUNDAY: Gen 1-3 Matt 1
MONDAY: Gen 4-6 Matt 2
TUESDAY: Gen 7-9 Matt 3
WEDNESDAY: Gen 10-12 Matt 4
THURSDAY: Gen 13-15 Matt 5:1-26
FRIDAY: Gen 16-17 Matt 5:27-48
SATURDAY: Gen 18-19 Matt 6:1-18
SUNDAY: Gen 20-22 Matt 6:19-34
We would like to wish a very happy New Year and that 2012 would be a year of great breakthrough and blessing.

Wow wasn't last weekend great! The Christmas party was a great success, so thank you so much to all those who helped on the day and for all those who came along and enjoyed the time together. The food, fellowship and fun was excellent. Then on Sunday our Kids did an amazing job of the Sunday service.
I was so impressed by our awesome kids, they are a definite blessing from the Lord. Thanks very much Mel and your team for all the hard work you put into the event. You guys rock!!! It was so good to see many visitors, so thank you for inviting friends and family, I hope they were blessed. There was just under 100 people in church on Sunday.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE:
On Saturday night we will be having our Christmas Service at Mid-Coast. It will start at 5.30pm followed by some Christmas snacks. This is also a great opportunity to invite your family and friends to join us for Carols, a Christmas message and some HO HO HO type fellowship. The service will be 1 hour long followed by tea, coffee and snacks. I hope you can make it.
READ THROUGH YOU BIBLE IN A YEAR:
The word is the foundation for all life and truth. We believe strongly that it should be dwelling in us richly so let's take a journey together through the word in 2012. Starting on Sunday the 1st of January we will be initiating a bible reading program we can do together. Every Christian should commit themselves to do this at least once in their lifetime so why not do it together this year. If we are all reading from the same scripture passages throughout the year we can use our readings as foundation for preaching, biblical quiz topics, and home fellowship discussion. All of you who have read through the bible in a year before will agree it is a great blessing. So join with me this year for an awesome adventure in the word. Let's make some good decisions for 2012.
2 Tim 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
INFLUENCERS CONFERENCE:
23RD TO 25TH of January 2012. Make a plan to come along to this great event.

How many of you remember what you were given last Christmas? Or the Christmas before? Well if you are like me you probably don’t remember many gifts you were given. But I am sure you can remember words that people spoke over you many years ago. Mark shared a great message this last Sunday about the power of our words. There is definitely life and death in the power of the tongue. (Pr 18:21). God told us in Romans 12:14 to bless and not curse because He realised the incredible power there is in our words. This Christmas why not choose to bless others with encouraging words. It’s a gift they are likely to remember for years to come. This is the blessing the priests were told to pronounce over the people.
Num 6:22-27
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
"Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them."
The word tells us we are all kings and priests so our job is to pronounce a blessing over people this Christmas. When we say “God Bless you” it’s like painting a target on someone’s chest for God’s blessing. This Christmas don’t just say empty words, speak positive declarations of God’s blessing and life.
You’re an fantastic bunch of blessed people. See ya at the Foreshore.

8/12/11
We have entered the season of the year where many people in our community will feel lonely or disconnected. This is a great time for the church to arise and love those around us. The smallest act of kindness can mean so much to those in need. Christmas can be the loneliest time for those who have no family around them. This Christmas have a think about who you know who may need some company or even a gift. People who live near you, that you work with or those you meet in the community. It's a good time to "Arise and shine".
Isa 60:1-2
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.
CHRISTMAS HAMPERS FOR SINGLE MUMS
Wow, thank you so much for your incredible generosity. Only last week we were wondering if we would be able to put a few Christmas care parcels together and now we have enough for the full eight. You are a very generous church and God loves that.
Prov 19:17
He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given.
HELPS
We need a couple of volunteers to help with the cleaning of our church buildings. The time is flexible and you could just do it for a season. Thanks

Mark 1:14-15
Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the gospel."
What gospel did Jesus preach? The gospel of the kingdom of God. When we think of sharing the gospel we usually think of the salvation message.
Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins and through Him we can have eternal life". Yes, that is the message or salvation but not the gospel of the kingdom. Why did Jesus preach the gospel of the kingdom? Because He knew that salvation is more than just getting saved. It's the door to every kingdom blessing available here on earth. Are you getting what I am saying.
The gospel is about living in a kingdom not just about salvation.
Jesus is the king of a kingdom and when we give our lives to Him we enter into all the entitlements of that Kingdom. You are a kings kid with all the power, blessing and rights that come with it. You didn't just receive salvation when you gave your life to Him you were adopted with full inheritance of His kingdom here and now. Ask yourself this question. Which Kingdom do I choose to live in?
CHRISTMAS HAMPERS FOR SINGLE PARENTS
This Sunday is the last day you can give into this powerful community blessing. Every year we have amazing feedback from the single mums at Comet Bay Primary School how they were blessed by your generosity. It is an awesome testimony for the school staff as well. This is what we need.
Non-perishable "Christmassy" food items such as fruit mince pies, short bread, savoury biscuits, olives, plum pudding, dried fruit, nuts, box of chocolates, Christmas lollies, tinned fruit etc.
Other Christmas needs such as bon bons, napkins, table decorations, tree decorations, present labels, wrapping paper, party poppers etc. Thank you all.

28/11/11
Over the last few weeks i have really felt a strong sense of being in a season of grace for breakthrough. I feel the Lord is encouraging us all to look closely at how we live and make adjustments as He leads. Every great revival of God has been preceded by a move towards repentance and holiness in the lives of His people. If that is what He is saying at this time let's not miss our opportunity to be obedient to Him. My experience has been that if we respond when the Lord is highlighting a particular issue His anointing is upon it to help us bring the required change. This is an open door to be released from some of the things that you may have been a struggling with for some time. As I have mentioned here are a few things to help you break free.
. Repent and ask God for forgiveness
. Receive that forgiveness and step into His righteousness (It's a gift)
. Make some definite decisions before God
. Remove situations or things that cause you to be tempted
. Ask God for strength to help you break through
Remember
1 Cor 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
PS GREG BIDDLE:
This Friday night (2 sleeps) Greg Biddle is coming to Mid-Coast to share Gods wisdom for "Devine Health". We all need to hear this message so bring your friends, family and join us at 7.30pm.
God richly bless you all.

16/11/11
Hi Church
This last Sunday I spoke on the power of Repentance. John the Baptist ushered in the coming of the Kingdom of God with the command
Matt 3:2
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"
Jesus started his ministry with the same message in Matt 4:17. There is a definite connection between a repentant heart and the coming of the Kingdom of God. Every great revival or move of God has been established on a platform of vigour for repentance and a desire to live a sanctified and pure life. True repentance for ourselves and our community is the door to breakthrough in God. He said
2 Chron 7:14
"
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
I encouraged you last Sunday to be quick to repent and quick to receive His forgiveness. Get up and get on with the job!!! The devil loves to paralysed us due to condemnation and guilt. Don't give him the opportunity. It's time to break free from sin habits and see the Kingdom come in your life. Here are a few points that have helped me
. REPENT AND ASK FOR GODS HELP
. MAKE SOME FIRM DECISIONS TO BREAK PATTERNS OF HABITUAL SIN
. GET HELP: HUMBLE YOURSELF, BE ACCOUNTABLE TO SOMEONE
. ABSORB THE WORD
. CONTROL WHAT YOU ALLOW TO INFLUENCE YOU: TV, FILMS,
MAGAZINES, FRIENDS
. LOOK FOR THE WAY OF ESCAPE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE ONE
1 Cor 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
PS GREG BIDDLE:
Next Friday evening the 25th of November we have Greg Biddle ministering at Mid-Coast. Greg carries an awesome message regarding living in divine health. Understanding is often the key to transformation so come along and hear this great speaker. This would be a great opportunity to invite friends or family who struggle with health issues or dietary dysfunctions. Good health is important to everyone so let's make a plan to be there next Friday evening at 730pm. You will be blessed.
Have a fantastic week living in God's blessings.

What a great message Ps Denice preached this last Sunday. If we truly have a grasp of our eternal future we live very different lives. So much so, we can do a “check-up” of our own lives by what we consider important and prioritise. When I personally “Got it” I found my priorities radically changed in the following ways.
- Death was no longer something to be feared but just a passage to a greater life.
1 Cor 15:55
"O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" "Death is swallowed up in victory."
- Worldly acclaim and status seemed unimportant.
- My life on earth appeared so short in comparison to eternity, so I quickly got on with what God had called me to do.
- The reality of living in a different kingdom was much easier to grasp when I looked at the “here and now” as preparation for living eternally in His kingdom. He is training us for our eternal role.
2 Tim 2:11-12
For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.
If we endure, We shall also reign with Him.
Our lives are so short, let’s make every second count. Now is the time to live, love, laugh, learn and see His Kingdom come in our lives. Woooohoooo!!!
Australian Christian Lobby
I spoke to you briefly on Sunday about the bill that is about to be brought to parliament requesting the law to be changed allowing brothels to be operated legally in industrial areas. This would be a great step backwards for our state as it would change the thinking of our community regarding prostitution and make way for more legal unrighteousness. The ramifications are enourmous. Please pray that this bill would not be approved. More information can be found on the Australian Christian Lobby site. Go to Western Australia on the main tool bar.
Auditorium 2
As you would be aware we have now secured a lease on Unit 5 for our Kids and youth centre. We plan to keep the fit-out simple yet functional so we have some work to do over the next couple of months. I will be letting you know about some ways you could be involved in the fit-out of the building to get the project up and running. Initially we plan to pressure clean the workshop space and paint the floor and walls. This is a great opportunity to build together for what God has planned for us for next year. These are exciting times.
Greg Biddle
On the Friday 25th of November at 7 30pm we have Greg Biddle coming to do a night meeting at Mid-Coast. Greg is a great teacher and majors on living in kingdom health. This event is only a couple of Fridays away so keep it aside to hear this great speaker.
FRIDAY PRAYER NIGHT
This Friday night is our church prayer meeting. This will be a great opportunity to be encouraged and push in to see God transform this region through our prayers. Also Nick and Jo will be leading an hour of worship for those who would like to spend some time in His presence before prayer. Worship will start at 6 pm followed by prayer at 7pm. Friday night spent in His presence, I couldn’t think of a better way to start the weekend. See you there.
Worship session; 6pm-7pm MCCC Friday night.
Prayer meeting: 7pm MCCC Friday night.
Have a very blessed week, see you Sunday.

1/11/11
Well this week has been a great step forward for all of us at Mid-Coast. As you would be a aware last weekend we took up our "Miracle Offering". Thank you so much to all those who gave into that offering. Ps Denice and I have always been very blessed by the generosity of our church.
The offering taken up in cash and pledges was $6686.00: $3,590.00 has been banked with $3,100 in pledges to come.
Thanks again that is fantastic. We understand that many people were away this last Sunday so we will be continuing to give you the opportunity to give towards the "Miracle Offering" over the next couple of weeks.
With the offering money we were able to pay most of the upfront costs to get into unit
5 for our Children's ministry. The expenses were; bond, rent in advance, and legal fees. We understand this is a great start to the faith journey that God has laid out before us to walk in.
In a few weeks though we will need approx $12,000.00 to be able to put in airconditioning in our main auditiorium for summer so please keep the finiances and prayers coming in
2 Cor 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
I love to walk, some days I will walk 10kms or more as I pray and enjoy God.
I don't think God called us to walk in faith for no reason. Consider this regarding our walk in faith.
Walking is slow yet consistent.
We would all love to reach our destination faster but if we walk at a slow yet consistent pace we can cover a lot more distance than if we run and wear ourselves out. Faith isn't meant to be up and down but a continued walk of life.
Walking keeps us focused.
As I mentioned to you a few weeks ago, if I pray sitting on my comfy lounge my thoughts tend to wander. If I walk and pray it is far easier to keep my attention focused on the Lord. If we live lives that are faith filled we have no option but to keep our attention firmly on the Lord to sustain us.
If we never do anything in faith we have no need for God to come through.
Driving my Monaro is much faster and easier than walking!!! But I
see so much more when I am walking. If God provided for our needs instantly we would not learn the walk of faith. Then we would never experience the blessings of the journey and seeing how he provides along the way.
Our building project has been an absolute blessing in the life of Mid-Coast so far. Over the next few month we will be doing some working bee's to get unit 5 up and running. So if you can paint, build clean or make food (I love that part) it would be fantastic if you could give a hand.
THIS SUNDAY
Fellowship lunch after the service this week, so why not bring a friend or 2.
CARE CUPBOARD
We have sent out 2 care parcels this week so the care cupboard is looking a bit thin. If you can bring something along to fatten up the care cupboard that would be great.
It is an honour to be the pastor of a church full of such awesome people!
Love you guys.

30/10/11
I hope you are doing well and enjoying God's blessings. This week has been the ACC state conference and what a great blessing it has been. We are very fortunate to be part of such a great movement that is vitally effective in this state. Well done to John and Dong-Soon, Rene, Mel, Tracy, Agnelo, Angela, Eleanor and Sherise who came along. It was great to be there together and enjoy this amazing event.
Church together was also an outstanding event. There were thousands of Christians from all over the city, from many denominations who came together to worship Him in public. It was one of those "hair standing up on the arms" experiences as Perth boldly proclaimed Jesus as Lord of our city. Ps Tony Campolo and the Parachute band were amazing. Make sure you pencil it in for next year.
MIRACLE OFFERING:
Our Miracle offering will be taken up this Sunday. Let's believe together for a bumper blessing to continue the work God has set before us. We have seen Mid-Coast go in leaps and bounds over the last 12 months due to the faithfulness of those who give. So thank you so much and let's give together to see stage 2 of the project come together. We will make it possible for you to give over the next few weeks if you are unable to make it to church this Sunday.
Prov 11:25
The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.
Have a great day and don't forget to ARK someone this week.

Isn’t it nice to feel some sunshine coming on. The days are getting longer and the night are warmer. We live in a great place to enjoy Summer. Let’s make the most of it.
This last Sunday I spoke to you about the power of our personal testimony. For too long the church has been silenced by our caution and the enemy loves that. We always need to check our motives but the power of personal testimony is a great tool in the Kingdom of God.
Matt 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Don’t be shy to encourage others by sharing your testimony of what God has done through you. If you missed last Sunday’s message it is available to download as a podcast off the church web site.
Church Together this Sunday
Church together is a powerful event designed to celebrate the church of Perth coming together in Jesus’s name. It is happening this Sunday night in Go Edwards park across from the Burswood Casino. (outside Riverview Church). I have gone several time’s and have always come away very blessed. There will be a picnic on the lawn from 4-6pm then the event from 7-9.30pm. It is recommended to go on the train and get off at Burswood station and walk across. There is a directions map on the Church together web site. It would be great if we could all sit together. Give my mobile a call to find out where we are.
I hope you can make it. Ps Ian 0402485328
Have a very blessed week and I will look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

14/10/11
I trust you are having a good week. I hope my message last Sunday has had some “Take Home” value for you. I have been very aware recently of the absolute necessity of having the word of God firmly planted in our lives. With all the bombarding of the media in this age it is so important to know that we have God’s word as our constant source of learning His ways. In all the conflicting views and opinions the Word of God stands alone as a beacon of truth and stability down through the ages. For us to be effective in His calling and to live a life of rest we need to understand and live in his ways. Make it your aim to know His ways and live out of biblical principles and truth.
Ps 128:1
Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways.
MIRACLE OFFERING:
We have decided to postpone the miracle offering planned for this coming Sunday till the 30th of October. We have done this to allow a little more time for you to prepare for what you feel the Lord has instructed you to give. If you want to give to that offering over the next couple of weeks you may but please put it in an envelope and mark it “Miracle Offering”. Thanks.
PRAYER MEETING:
Our church prayer meeting is on this Friday night. Come along and join in a time of worship and prayer together from 7.30pm.
WOMEN’S CONFERENCE:
CCC Rockingham are holding their Women’s conference this coming Friday night and Saturday day. The night meeting is open but you will need to book for the Saturday sessions. Please contact Mel if you would like to go.

09/11/11
I hope you were blessed by the message last Sunday. If you were not there I spoke about living in the rest of God that comes through true belief in the principals of His Kingdom. I don't mean rest like laying around doing nothing, that's rest for your flesh. I mean rest like, a constant pervading peace or rest through all situations of life. I believe that is not only possible but is Gods intended will for us. True rest of the soul is like our reward in this life for genuinely trusting Him.
Phil 4:7
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
All we have to do is actually believe His word and live His principals out in our lives. Have a listen to the message on the web site if you missed it.
Make rest for your soul your quest through believing and resting on His word.
Matt 11:28-29
Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Nick sent me a great message from David Wilkinson regarding belief in Him which I have attached for you to read. Believing brings rest, unbelief brings oppression. I hope this is a blessing for you.

This coming Sunday we are having a baptism service at the Rockingham waterfront. Baptisms are an essential and exciting time of decision for believers to enter into the purposes of the Kingdom. If you have never been water baptised and you would like to be please call or text me and you can be part of this coming Sundays baptisms. I will be doing a water baptism class at the church on Thursday night at 730pm for all those who are desiring to be baptised this Sunday.
On Sunday after church we will be meeting at 1pm outside Nautilus Apartments on the lawn for a picnic, followed by the baptism service on the beach at 1.45pm.
I hope you can make to support those being baptised and celebrate with them this life changing event.
Mark 16:15-16
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved;

We have nearly come to the end of our “Month of Unusual Pursuit”. I trust it has been a blessing to push in a little deeper and snuggle into the heart of our loving Father. The effectiveness of these initiatives are totally up to you so I hope you are thinking it has been an awesome season for you and God. I have personally learnt some stuff, had some revelations and grown a little more in love with Him over the last 30 days. That makes it very worthwhile.
ARK’d
This coming Saturday I would like to call an ARK’d day. Let’s all pray, have a think about it and ask God to show you some ways of blessing someone this Saturday. Take a few minutes out of your day to do something kind for someone and give them an ark’d card when you have finished. I am going to do that and tell you about how it went on Sunday. I would love to hear about your experiences too. As a church lets be randomly kind to someone this Saturday and see if we can’t get the kindness pool spinning in our community.
OCTOBER COMING EVENTS:
Oct 2nd: This coming Sunday is our Fellowship lunch so bring some friends and enjoy some time together.
Oct 10th: Baptisms after church. Let me know if you would like to be baptised. Come along and support those being baptised. Rocko foreshore 1:30pm

I hope you found great success with your fasting today. You know God will be blessed by your effort just for giving it a go. Well with this week’s praying, reading, worshipping and fasting there must be some spiritual momentum happening in you. Today being Friday the plan is to take 15minutes and pray for breakthrough in our region. Pray for your neighbours, businesses in the region, politicians, and all those in positions of influence. Let’s really commit the mid-Coast to prayer.
2 Chron 7:14-15
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
Praying together has great power, let see the spiritual climate over our region change.
Have a blessed day

22/09/11
Well its day 22 of our month of unusual pursuit. As I mentioned earlier today is fasting day. Fast breakfast and Lunch and eat at dinner time. Let’s do this together today and pray for each other to experience great breakthrough. Use the time you would usually eat to pray and spend time with God. Don’t forget to drink lots of water.
Don’t forget our Saturday night worship event. Bring your friends.
Happy birthday Mark! Hip, hip hooray!!!!!

21/9/11
I hope you did well with your prayers of thankfulness yesterday. Today (Wednesday) is worship day. This is the plan. Today let’s try and spend 15 minutes worshiping our great God. You can put on your favourite worship cd and sing along or just pray out words of love and adoration to Him. Remember worship is all about directing our hearts towards Him with Love and thankfulness. Try to stay focused on really blessing Him. Let’s join together today in a wonderful time of worship for our awesome God.
Worship Event this Saturday
As you would be aware Sean Faught is ministering at Mid-Coast this Saturday night. Sean is the international director of BURN 24/7 which is a powerful world-wide worship initiative. We are very blessed to be able to host this great regional event. Saturday night will start with worship lead by Sean and his band and I think He will share a message and bring encouragement and vision. I think it will go for about 2 hours. This is an awesome opportunity to be led by one of the best young contemporary worship leaders of our time. This would be a good one to invite all your Christian friends and would even be a good event for the unchurched. It would be great if we could come out in force to support this significant event.
Have a very blessed day and enjoy giving Him the worship He deserves. He’s looking forward to it!!

20/9/11
Hi All
I hope you have had a good day. Today is day 19 of our month of “Unusual Pursuit”. My message on Sunday was all about developing a momentum in the Spirit through, prayer, reading the word, fasting and other pursuits of the God. So every day this week I will email you with an aspect of pursuit for us all to do together. I hope you were able to read one chapter of scripture today as I encouraged you in yesterday’s update. I understand we are all at different places in our walk with the Lord but if we all get involved it will build momentum in all of us and be a great encouragement for those embarking on this journey.
Tomorrow (being Tuesday) our focus is on thankfulness in prayer. Find at least 15 minutes and thank and praise Him for all He has done for you. Start by thanking Him for loving you and go from there. Pray out loud if you can. Here are a few ideas to thank Him for.
His love for you
His salvation and eternal life given to you
His mercy and compassion
His favour in your life
His wisdom
For your family
Your church
Your health
Your community and nation
Most of all for Jesus
Sometimes the key to breakthrough is thanking God for the things you are believing for even before they have happened
Rom 4:17
God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
Send me an email and let me know how you went with the reading today.
God bless you all.

18/9/11
Today at church I spoke about personal momentum to bring some context and purpose to our month of “Unusual Pursuit. The whole reason we do this is to encourage you through a little more personal effort to increase your spiritual momentum. Please have a listen to the message on the website called “Personal Momentum” and all this will make a lot of sense. I received very good feedback regarding this message from those who attended today so check it out.
This week we are going to do some things together. I understand that we are all at different levels and for some this will be less than your normal practice but let’s do it anyway. There is great power in us doing things together so why not get involved.
Gen 11:6
And the Lord said, "Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.
FOR MONDAY 19TH OF SEPTEMBER
Tomorrow will be a nice gentle start. The plan for Monday is to read one chapter of the bible. If you don’t have a normal reading plan I would suggest you read John chapter 14. Before you start pray and ask Holy Spirit to bring the scripture alive. Read it slowly and try to sense what God is saying to you though His word.
Do this tomorrow and you will have more momentum in the Spirit than you do today. The plan is to start some movement tomorrow which turns into productive momentum.
Come on, let’s jump in the pool and begin.

Today is day 14 of our “month of unusual pursuit”. How is your unusual pursuit going? I have been having a nice time with the Holy Spirit over the last week or so. You may remember in one of my updates last week I encouraged you with your fellowship with Holy Spirit? Well I encouraged myself with that and since then I have been enjoying being aware of Holy Spirit all the day. I ask Him lots of questions and ask Him to bless anyone who comes to mind throughout the day. If I have a problem I ask Him for the solutions and I must say I am really enjoying Him. Last week I started sharing with you about some of the things that hinder us from deeper intimacy with Him. First I wrote about sin and today I would like to write about prayerlessness. (Is that a word?)
Prayerlessness is something that will differ for all of us depending on our temperament and experience. I know for many it comes out of discouragement and the feeling that God doesn’t listen or respond to you. He seems to talk to everyone else and they have these great encounters but not me!!!! When I was a younger Christian I felt like this a lot myself. I would hear people talk of God speaking with them and the amazing encounters they had and think, WHAT ABOUT ME, IT ISN’T FAIR. When I would try and pray my mind would be darting from thing to thing totally distracted. Often my pray times would be almost exhausting trying to stay focused on the Lord or I would feel like falling asleep.
I persisted through that very frustrating stage and came out the other end with some very useful and practical tools to effective prayer times.
1. Most importantly, experiment and find out what works for you. God is good with that, He wants us to think about this stuff. I use get up every morning sit on my couch and read the bible ( a couple of chapters). Then I would try to pray but always fell asleep. I realised that didn’t work for me! Then I tried praying as I drove to work, that was too distracting and didn’t work for me either. I realised that when I walked and prayed my body was active but my mind was free to focus on the Lord. That way I didn’t fall asleep and could concentrate on praying. So now the I get up and the first thing I do is walk. I usually start by giving God thanks and worshiping Him for who He is as I walk. Then I pray in tongues for a while as loud as I can without waking up the neighbourhood. By that stage the blood is flowing, I feel alert and alive so I can pray with a clear mind. Then when I am finished walking my body is well awake and I can read without falling asleep. I am a morning person so I understand many of you would find it much easier to pray at night. It doesn’t matter, just find out what works for you.
2. If you don’t know what to pray about make a list during the day and pray those things the next morning (or when you pray). When you begin to pray ask God to guide you to pray for the things that are on His heart. Ask God and listen and pray the first thing that comes to mind. As you do that you will get better at discerning what is from God.
3. Believe what the word says about your prayer, it’s a faith thing.
Prov 15:29
He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Remember we are the righteous through Jesus no matter how you feel.
James 5:16
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
4. Don’t ever give up on prayer. Whether you feel like it or not your prayers are important to God. Did you realise he collects your prayers.
Rev 5:8
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Your prayers are highly valuable to God, He loves them.
What I can guarantee you is that if you persist in prayer and worship you will find personal doorways that lead you right into Gods presence. You just need to search out and find your doors.
Have a blessed day

Good morning to you all. I hope you really enjoyed the ministry of Ps Craig Lotze this last Sunday. For those who were unable to make it, he preached a fantastic message on God’s Mercy. I understand that we know God as merciful and mercy is something that we receive when we accept His gift of eternal life.
Titus 3:5
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us,
Mercy is a foundational principal of our Christian faith, but do we live in it. As I sat and listened intently to what Ps Craig shared on Sunday it’s like a revelation of Gods mercy exploded in my heart. Like “Mercy” came alive, jumped off the pages of scripture and apprehended my heart.
Mercy is something I need to walk in personally every day of my life. To draw upon the mercy of God for me and all those I come in contact with. God’s Mercy is a reservoir of love and power to all who will receive it from Him. You can apply His mercy to your greatest heart felt needs.
Today let’s walk aware of His incredible mercy for yourself and all those you are around. Call upon Gods mercy in prayer and release it over this needy world. Let mercy explode in your heart.
CHURCH FAMILY NEEDS
Simon and Eleanor and their family have a need for a lounge suit. As you may be aware they have recently moved into the area and made Mid-Coast their home. They have rented a great house but have very little to put in it. If you have a lounge you could bless them with even as a loner would be awesome.

10/9/11
Well its day 10 of our “Unusual Pursuit of God”. How the month is slipping away. Wasn’t it a beautiful morning this morning. We are a very blessed people to be living in such an amazing place and living free. We need to be continually thankful for the time and place which we live. Yesterday I started chatting with you about things that hinder us from genuine intimacy with God. Yesterday’s topic of sin is vitally important to understand. In Jesus we are free. That doesn’t give us a licence to live a sinful lives but it does give us the absolute freedom to quickly recover when things go wrong.
Another thing that directly effects our intimacy with God is not understanding the role of the Holy Spirit. I know many of you are very aware of this and we spent a lot of time on this issue when we did the equipping the saints coarse earlier in the year. We need to understand that father God lives in heaven, Jesus is at the right hand of the father and it’s Holy Spirit who is here on earth. He has been sent to earth to live in us and help us build the Kingdom. Its fellowship with Holy Spirit that empowers us for the life we are called to lead. Without that fellowship we can wander aimlessly not connecting with what God has for us. It’s Holy Spirit that helps us to pray and bring acceptable worship to the Father. We need Him and you need to recognise that. Here are a few scriptures to reinforce this truth.
Rom 8:9
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.
John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things,
Rom 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
Notice in this next scripture who we have fellowship with
2 Cor 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
He is our companion, we can ask Him about every situation of our lives. Get to know Him personally.
THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday we have a special guest speaker. Ps Craig Lotze from Victory Faith Church, Spokane USA. Ps Craig is a wonderful man and will be a great blessing this Sunday. Come early for prayer and get in the flow of what Holy Spirit is doing.
Love you guys.

9/9/11
Today is day 9 of our month of “Unusual pursuit of God”. I was praying the other day and felt to spend a couple of morning updates on the things that hinder our intimacy with God. Did you know that from God’s perspective it is impossible to separate us from His amazing love and grace other than by an act of your will. It has to be a purposeful decision on your part to reject Gods love and choose to turn your back on Him. Then He will respect you decision.
I love that well known scripture
Rom 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The thing I would like to talk to you about today is sin. When we make a mistake and sin we often feel like God has left us. God never leaves us.
Heb 13:5
For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
It is the feeling of guilt in us that makes us feel like God has rejected us. Remember in the garden of Eden when the very first sin took place, Adam and Eve hid from God. They hid because they felt guilty. What was the tree they eat from. It was the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. For the first time they recognised they had done evil and the guilt of that act cause them to feel uncovered and unworthy to be with God. But please remember God still showed up to meet with them in the cool of the day even though he knew they had sinned. God knew that if man had the knowledge of good and evil guilt would separate man from God. Then the devils job was done. Guilt and fear are his favourite tools.
This separation of man and God due to guilt and fear continued through the old testament. Remember it was man’s guilt not Gods intention. (Read Exodus chapter 19 and 20)
God sent Jesus to redeem man back to God. Jesus came to take away your guilt and fear so you can boldly stand before God.
Rom 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus
Heb 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Rom 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death
We all sin sometimes but God has given us the key to unlock us from guilt. It’s called “REPENTANCE”. (Saying sorry to God and meaning it)
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This is the bottom line! Try not to sin, but when you do, get up QUICKLY, REPENT AND RECEIVE HIS FORGIVENESS. God never ever ever ever wants you to be separated from him due to guilt. Remember He showed up in the garden!
MEN’S MOVIE NIGHT
Tonight at the church is BBQ and movie night. I can’t wait. 6 30pm at the church. Come on men, see you there.

8/9/11
Today is day 8 of our month of “Unusual Pursuit of God”. Last night Ps Denice and I went out for dinner with Ps Craig Lotze who is our guest speaker this coming Sunday. It was a great night of sharing life stories and enjoying what God was doing in our lives. While we were at the restaurant a friend of ours from South Africa who lived nearby dropped in to say “Hi” and have coffee and dessert. Our friend Denis brought a friend with Him who is visiting from England. Denis’s friend had recently been born again and was very excited about the things of God. During our conversation we realised she had never been baptised in the Holy Spirit so we offered to pray for her. We gathered around her at the dinner table, laid hands on her and in a matter of seconds she was praying away in tongues and experiencing His touch. At that moment the waitress came to clear the table and saw we were praying together. So we spent the next 20 minutes talking to the waitress about the love of God and answering her many question. She went away very blessed and encouraged.
Today may be a very normal day, but we need to be aware that God wants to use normal situations to share His love with others. As you continue through this day ask Him to show you what He would want for every situation you face. Staying aware of God throughout the day and listening for His direction will lead you into opportunities that will be natural and powerful for the building of His Kingdom. Pursue Him for His purposes for you today.
Prov 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

7/9/11
As you will be aware by now September is our month of “Unusual Pursuit”. This is a time where we annually take 30 days and pursue God in a greater way than we normally would. What you choose to do is up to you but I would encourage you to do something. My experience is that very small consistent changes in our lives are the most productive for our personal transformation. God is amazingly patient but requires us to be slowly but continually transformed.
Rom 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
I personally have learnt so much about myself and my walk with the Lord through fasting. When I first tried it, it seemed really hard but I still learnt lots about my flesh. Its many of those basic things I learnt in my first experiences with fasting that I still draw on now regarding personal discipline. It is definitely a good experience even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time. Why not choose a day coming up soon and fast breakfast and lunch using the times you would normally eat to pray. That’s a good start. Fasting is a discipline that is not used enough in today’s church and I believe we lack power because of it. Jesus said to His disciples
Matt 6:17
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
Its sounds like He expected then to fast doesn’t it.
Have a very blessed day
Psalm 63:1 O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

6/9/11
I hope this week is off to a great start for you. Have you ever noticed that sometimes it’s like God is a long way away and other times He is so close. I believe that in the times he seems distant He desires us to pursue Him with extra passion. I have come to know that God doesn’t want us to live a passive life just waiting for Him to show up. Sometimes He requires us to really pursue Him and contend for breakthrough in His presence. I have always been amazed by 2 scriptures where the disciples persuaded Jesus to stay with them against His original intention. Have a look at these.
Mark 6:48-51
Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by. And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid." Then He went up into the boat to them,
It was Jesus intention to pass them by, but due to them crying out He went up into the boat.
Luke 24:28-31
Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, "Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them. Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
Imagine if the disciples hadn’t convinced Him to stay, what a blessing they would have missed.
Sometimes God wants us to pursue Him for the blessing He wants us to have. He just needs to know we are prepared to contend for it.
Have a read of Genesis 32: where Jacob wrestles with God for His blessing. God loves it when we actively pursue Him
Have a blessed day

5/9/11
I hope you enjoyed our service and fellowship lunch yesterday? It was a great blessing to worship together with you. Today is day 5 in our month of “Unusual Pursuit”. Yesterday I spoke on receiving the promises of God. My experience has been, if we take Gods promises and connect our faith to them we can then draw upon the resources of heaven. We have started this month by focusing on the area of intimacy. Did you know there are some amazing promises in His word regarding intimacy that are ours if we can place our faith in His word. Here are a few of my favourites.
Jer 29:13-14
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
14 I will be found by you, says the Lord,
James 4:7-8
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
2 Chron 15:2
If you seek Him, He will be found by you
Joel 2:12-13
"Now, therefore," says the Lord, "Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning." So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
The promises of God are more reliable than life itself. Let’s draw near to experience a deeper walk with Him this month.
Next Sunday
Ps Craig Lotze will be our visiting minister. Let’s invite our friends and make this a Sunday a Sunday to remember.

3/9/11
This morning take a moment and think about the blessing you have been given by God. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; (1 Peter 2:9). Today let’s consider our blessing and proclaim the praised of Him. Did you know we were created to bring Him glory?
Check this out!
Isa 43:7
Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him."
That’s you this morning. A toaster is happiest and most effective when it is making toast! Because that’s what it was created to do. Try frying an egg in your toaster. I have found that if I choose to give Him the glory He deserves, I am my most happy too. Give it a try.
Help needed:
We have just taken delivery of all the material we need to finish our walls with curtains. All we need now is someone who can hem the top and bottom. If you would be able to help with that please see Ps Denice or Myself. Thanks
Fellowship Lunch :
Tomorrow is our fellowship lunch. I hope you can make it.
God Bless you all, your amazing!

2/9/11
Good morning. Today is day 2 of our “Month of Unusual Pursuit”.
I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s encouragement on the area of intimacy. Did you experience some intimacy with our awesome God yesterday. True intimacy is only found in Gods kind of love. But you may think, how can I really love a God I cannot see Him and I don’t feel Him the way some people seem to feel Him. Let me explain this to you which I hope will help. True love has a “Kingdom of God” origin, not the kingdom of this world. These 2 worlds are very different from each other and are mostly totally opposite in operation. The kingdom of this world says, if you do good to me, look after me and do what I want then I will love you. The Kingdom of God say’s, I chose to love you no matter what you do!
Then the place to start true love is a decision. When we give our lives to Jesus we make a decision to love Him. At that point we don’t know Him or understand Him but we make that decision to love Him for all eternity. I have found that this Kingdom of God principal works in all areas of our life. Before I was a Christian I loved Denice because I liked what she did for me, how she made me feel or what she represented for me, but if she didn’t do that it was easy to feel like I didn’t love her. When I gave my life to Jesus and discovered Gods kind of love things really changed. I decided to love my wife no matter what she did or how she made me feel. That’s when true ‘Kingdom of God’ love came into my marriage. Now this is the amazing part, once I made that decision the feelings of love grew like never before. Now my feelings of loving my wife don’t go up and down with life’s situation they just grown deeper and deeper every year we are married. That’s the blessing of God when we choose to love no matter what we feel.
I hope you can grasp this concept. When we give our lives to Jesus we make a decision to love Him no matter what. When we start to live in that decision, that’s when the feelings of Love come flooding into our lives and grow every year we know Him. No matter how you feel or the situation you are in, start to speak out words of love and gratitude to Him. Choose to thank Him for your salvation and the new life He has given you. If you can love Him no matter what I guarantee those feeling of love towards Him will start to grow in a way you never thought possible. If you struggle to experience God or have intimacy with Him try it. You’ll never look back.
PRAYER MEETING
As part of our month of unusual pursuit, why not come along to prayer tonight at the church.
FELLOWSHIP LUNCH
We are having our fellowship lunch this Sunday so let’s invite a friend to enjoy it together with us.
NEXT SUNDAY
We have Craig Lotze speaking who will be an real blessing to us all.
Matt 10:39
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

1/09/11
Hi Mid-Coasters
Good morning to you on this first day of Spring 2011. As you may be aware the month of September is our “Month of unusual Pursuit”. This is a time when we pursue God in a deeper or more passionate way than we normally would. As I mentioned last week this may mean praying some more than usual, studying the word more, fasting, or even watching a bit less TV and using the time to worship Him. I am planning on emailing you daily with an encouragement for September. If you would rather I didn’t just return email me to let me know and I’ll take you off the list for the next 30 days.
Day 1
I would like to start with the topic of “Intimacy”. I believe that God created each one of us for an intimate relationship with Him. When God created Adam He created him for fellowship, he communed with him daily. God walked with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day. After sin entering the world through Adam and Eve God still wanted intimacy but man was fearful. In Exodus 19 we see a great passage of God desiring to reveal Himself to Israel in a cloud over mount Sinai. He wanted to speak with them but due to the guilt of sin the people were scared and asked God to speak through Moses instead.
Ex 20:19
Then they said to Moses, "You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die."
Imagine how disappointing that would have been for God that his very own people he created for fellowship were scared of Him due to their awareness of Sin (The knowledge of Good and Evil). But God had a plan for our redemption. If we couldn’t go to God for intimacy He was going to come to us. Have a look at this old testament promise of His plan.
Ezek 36:26-28
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
What an amazing idea, rather than us going to fellowship with God he would come and live in us. Wow, it doesn’t get any more intimate than that. Paul recognised that Christ in us is our only hope of true intimacy with God in this sinful world
Col 1:27
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
How great is that!!!!! We have access to intimacy with God in us and through us. Let’s meditate on that today and just enjoy being with Him all day. Together lets bless Him with 30 days of intimate fellowship. Enjoy.
CAN YOU HELP ?
Over the last few weeks we have been blessed with the company of Simon, Eleanor, Jade and Hayden. They felt impressed of the Lord to settle in this area so they have secured work and now a rental house. At this stage they have very little to furnish their home so I asked them to provide a list of things they need. If you are able to help with any of the following please let me know. This is a great opportunity to be a blessing this great family.
· Office desk, office chair, bookshelves
· Coach, TV unit/cabinet, DVD player, coffee table
· Bedside tables, chest of drawers, queen bed and mattress
· Kitchen pots, saucepan, baking trays
· Towels, laundry hampers
FATHERS DAY FELLOWSHIP LUNCH:
This coming Sunday is father’s day, why not invite your father along this Sunday to join with us for the service followed by our fellowship lunch.
Have a very blessed day and don’t forget to pursue Jesus with your whole heart.
Jer 24:7
Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

As you may have been aware we have a full stage constructed for church but have been unable to use it due to alterations required by the council. I have ordered the materials and plan on doing the work this coming Monday and Tuesday. The stage modules are quite heavy to move so I will need some help with this one. I have some skilled hands lined up but could use a few more people to help out. If you would be available either of those days or part of please let me know. We are hoping to have the stage up and running for the following Sunday. Thanks
Have a blessed week

24/08/11
I am really enjoying the season that we are in. The church is full of life and purpose. As some of you will remember, late last year Ps Ashley Crane spoke a very powerful word over us as a church. The word was from Revelation 3.
Rev 3:7-8
'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name". NKJV
We have been given an open door and no-one can shut it. I have held this word in my heart and used it to draw on in times of difficulty. I believe that because together we received that word and in faith and pulled on it for a physical manifestation we are beginning to see great fruit. This is just the beginning as we have some very exciting times ahead. Let’s get enthusiastic about what that open door means to us as a church and the season we are now standing in. It’s time to choose to be people who never miss opportunities that God himself has placed before us. This is our season. Jesus let your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Month of Unusual Pursuit:
Sept 2011
Every year we have a month set aside as our “Month of Unusual Pursuit”. The idea is to take one month of the year and pursue God in a new and passionate way. To go that bit deeper, or stay in His presence that much longer or choose to leave some baggage of the past behind. This month will look different for everyone but I would encourage you to join with us as God leads to make September 2011 an incredible month of pursuit. Remember the promise I showed you last week in Jeremiah, have a look at this one.
Jer 29:12-14
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord,
Here are a few ideas, but pray and ask God what He would like;
· Worship Him for His love for you every day
· Read the bible everyday if you don’t already
· Fast a day or 2 a week.
· Read and study more of the word than usual.
· Set aside a time every day to just listen to Him
· Pray with your family
· Have a family devotion each day
· Leave one of those bad habits behind
· Turn the TV off
We have found that this month is often followed by some great things happening in the spirit realm. The power of doing this together is enormous.
KIDS/YOUTH FACILITY:
It was great to have our kids in unit 5 this last week. We could turn that unit into the most fantastic kids/youth facility. Please pray for finance and wisdom to be able to bring this part of our vision to pass.

29/07/11
It was so good to be back with you last Sunday. It all seemed like a bit of a blur after holidays and Ground Swell but it was nice to be back. Ps Denice and I had a great holiday in Busselton. We really enjoyed having some solid time together and relaxing in a nice place. Not to mention the fantastic surfs I had. I want to thank you so much to those who contributed to the love offering taken up before we left. It made all the difference so we thank you and pray the Lord will bless you for your great generosity. Thanks so much also to our leadership team who took care of everything while we were away. You guys are a great blessing.
Last weekend we kicked off our ARK’D culture in the church. We really believe this is a valuable tool to engage our community through genuine acts of kindness. I have enjoyed doing some arking myself this week. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a lot of fun. Don’t forget to put your arking up on the website. You don’t have to put your name to it but it will encourage others to get involved.
On the 14th of August MCCC will be hosting the first Rockingham “BURN 24/7”. Burn 24/7 is a great organisation with a vision to see 24hour worship restored as in the tabernacle of David. Cities all over the world are getting involved and churches from many denominations are coming together to worship and pray. In Perth “Burn” is a fairly new initiative but is building momentum. We have been asked to host a 12 hour burn from Friday 7 30pm till Saturday 7 30 am. We have invited worship teams from all over the Rockingham District to be involved in this great event. I would like to invite you to come and be part for whatever amount of time you would like. Why not come and worship with us for an hour or so or bring a pillow and a blanket and stay all night. This is a very good opportunity to pray over our city and intercede for the lost together.
I hope you all have a great week and look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

As you would be aware Ps Denice and I are away on holidays for a couple of weeks in Busselton. We are enjoying time to relax, read and spend some time together which has been a great blessing. I have also had some really good surfs in the last week or so.
I was very happy to hear you had a great service this last Sunday and the leadership team did a fantastic job. We are so blessed at Mid-Coast to have a range of very anointed and gifted people to carry the work of the ministry with us. I hope you all enjoyed Ps John Warwick last Sunday. He was very complementary of the church but the one thing that stood out to him was how friendly you are. Thank you so much for being a fantastically friendly church. I doesn’t matter who we are we all liked to be welcomed with a big hello and a smile. Keep up the great work.
This coming Sunday is our fellowship lunch . It will be a good opportunity to invite your friends to church with lunch following. There is always a great social atmosphere at the lunch so come and be part.
Also our foundations course start this Sunday before the Service. It will commence at 9am at the church and Rene will be leading that group. Being equipped is a vital part of your Christian life. So if you have recently given your life to Jesus or would like some very strong foundations come along. You will gain a great understanding from the Word of God and be equipped to live in victory. All are welcome.
This Sunday at 6pm we will be showing the John Bevere teaching series “Intimacy with the Holy Spirit”. This is a DVD series that will run for about 2 hours complete. It is the best biblical unpacking of the doctrine and truth regarding the baptism of the Spirit I have ever seen. Simple yet very profound. Come and check it out. John Bevere is a great communicator and very easy to listen too. Bring some popcorn and a blanket and lets hang out.
I hope you all have a great week.

I hope you are having a great week with many opportunities to share the love of Jesus through acts of random kindness. We were planning on launching our ARK'D culture initiative this weekend but due to mixing up the dates for Ps John Warwick coming to minister we will leave it for a few weeks. It is a great honour to have Ps John with us as he is a very special man of God. In the last 3 years he has brought great unity, purpose and direction to the ACC in this state. He has served as the state president prior to this term always with great success. About 3 years ago he was voted back in as president due to a period of instability in the movement and has turned that around 180 degrees by bring genuine connection and relationship between the churches. He is passionate about our movement retaining its Pentecostal distinctives with total reliance on the Holy Spirit. Australian Christian Churches is the largest Pentecostal movement in Australia and has over 100 churches relationally connected in Western Australia alone. Over the last few years the ACC in W.A. has planted more churches than in any other State of Australia which is an indication of the health and position of the movement here. Let's honour pastor John this Sunday by coming out in force and be blessed by his ministry at Mid-Coast.
This is a great season for us as a church! Over the last few weeks we have seen several significant healings take place in our Sunday meetings, 3 first time salvations and several re-commitments. Thank you Jesus, we honour you and thank you for your goodness.
I have a real sense that if we will push into His purposes in this season we will see a great breakthrough at Mid-Coast. We are starting to hear many great testimonies of acts of random kindness you are doing in the community.
Well done to all.
The word tells us in Isaiah:55:6
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
NKJV
I understand that the Lord is always near and can always be found by new testament believers but understanding the seasons is vitally important.
Jesus rebuked the religious leaders for not discerning the season of their visitation. We are in a season where God is doing something special. Let's seek him while He is near and respond to what He is doing in our midst.
. Pray for the lost around you
. Minister the love of Jesus through acts of kindness
. Invite people to church to encounter with us
Jesus said in Luke 18:8
Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
NKJV
If Jesus came back tomorrow would He find us all advancing the Kingdom by faith?
EQUIPPING THE SAINTS:
This Sunday night will be week 7, the last week of Equipping the Saints. I hope you have been challenged and equipped over the last 7 weeks. This last week I have asked you to prepare a 2-3minute personal testimony. I will call on several of you to share your testimony next Sunday night with the group.
The purpose of a testimony is to communicate the change that has taken place in your life since you have received Jesus. It is to bring glory to Jesus for His work in us and declare to the hearer love, hope and a future.
I have attached a document called "Sharing Your Testimony" which I would encourage you all to read so you understand what is required. Don't be shy you are among friends.
Have a very blessed week and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

I hope you are all having a great week. We are a blessed people! Let me share this little story.
For almost a year now we have been negotiating with the Rockingham city council over how many people they would allow us to accommodate in our building. The end result was a figure of 84 people and they said we would have to apply for any further numbers. I thought, ok that’s a start but will not be adequate for what God has in store for us. At that stage we were seeing around 45 people in our services. The council guys came through for their final inspection on Tuesday this week and seemed quite happy with what we had done with the building. I was contacted today by one of the guys from the council to say our approval was ready to pick up. To my surprise and joy the number they approved for our building is 175! WoooHooo!
This has been a great confirmation for me of what God is about to do. I thought of the prophetic word spoken over Denice and I that "We would see the harvest of souls we have dreamt of”. Now’s the time, lets fill this place up with new christians so we have to have multiple services!
For those of you who were unable to be at church last Sunday morning, the message “Key of Kindness” is now available for download on the Podcasts page.
Thanks so much to all those who brought food along to our Fellowship lunch last Sunday and thanks to Francesca for pulling it together.
Have a very blessed week and I will look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

I hope you were as blessed as I was after hearing Ps Ashley Crane this last Sunday. Wasn’t that a great message just full of the Holy Spirit? We have an exciting week coming up this week with a picnic lunch and baptisms after church. If you would like to b water baptised please give me a call (0402485328) so I can include you in the baptism class. It is very important that all believers are water baptised so this is a good opportunity to step into what God has planned for you.
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. NKJV
At the moment we have 2 people being water baptised, which will be very special. I love baptisms!
We will meet on the lawn outside “Nautilas” apartments on the Rockingham foreshore at 1:00pm for a picnic lunch. The baptisms will be at 1:45pm. Come down and celebrate with those who are getting baptised and make this a great occasion for them. I hope to see you there.
Equipping the Saints:
Thank you so much to all of you who signed up for Equipping the Saints. I hope you were blessed and challenged by the first weeks teaching. I believe it is so important to fully understand our purpose and what God requires of us. As you could see by our little “LOGO” example our purpose in the Christian life can be very confusing and the objectives poorly defined. I hope you can now confidently state your purpose and the purpose of the church. Matt 28 tells us so clearly our commission is to make disciples.
Matt 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
We all should be a disciple and making disciples. We never grow out of being a disciple ourselves and our life long purpose should be making disciples of Jesus. What is a disciple? Someone who is following Jesus. Whether we have been a Christian 2 months or 20 years we should always be a disciple and be making disciples.
Don’t forget to complete the week 1 exercises. You will be blessed.
Have a great and very blessed week
Love to you all

I hope you are having a great week and you enjoyed last Sunday’s service. Ps Denice and I were at the Australian Christian Churches (was AOG) national conference on the Gold Coast. We had a really good time and the ministry was outstanding. Reinhard Bonnke was the main speaker. He has led literally millions of people to the Lord over the last 20 years around the world. He did one crusade in Africa where 4 million first time decision cards were received. Wow!! We bumped into him in a shopping centre so we had a chat for a while and he laid hands on Ps Denice and prayed for her healing. In his conference sessions I expected him to speak on winning souls, which he did but he spoke on the reliance on the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as being the foundation for winning souls, which was very cool. Steve Murrel from the Philippians spoke on the importance of discipleship, and Wayne Alcorn, the is head of ACC in Australia spoke on family and caring for each other.
One thing I was so impressed with was the health of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) fellowship. We belong to such a great movement that is really on the cutting edge of what God is doing. Every year ACC grows not only in church numbers but in influence and purpose both in Australia and overseas. I was amazed how much ACC is doing on an international level with awesome effectiveness. We need to rejoice we are not just some independent church doing our own thing but part of a fantastic fellowship of effective churches touching the world.
You can order Audio and Or DVDs from the conference
by clicking on this link: ORDER
THIS COMING SUNDAY:
This Sunday will be a very exciting day. First off in our 10am service we have guest speaker Dr Ashley Crane. Ashley is the principal of “Harvest West Bible College” and a great friend of our church. Whenever Ashley has spoken at Mid-Coast he has brought such a NOW word. It was Ps Ashley who spoke the Rev:3 "open doors" Word over us last time he came. He has an amazing depth of theological understanding mixed with a great fun approach to life. Come along, bring your family and friends and be blessed by Dr Ashley Crane.

EQUIPPING THE SAINTS:
Equipping the Saints starts this coming Sunday at 6.00pm. I am really excited about this as it is the launching platform of effectiveness for us as a church. I believe this is a God ordained season for us to rally together to be trained, challenged and propelled into our purpose. It’s time for the church to rise and step into the increase and favour He has spoken over us. If you haven’t already signed up for the course you will need to let me know straight away. If your name is not on the list I will not have resources for you so let me know as soon as possible. The more of our church who do this the more effective we can be as a team.
I hope you have a blessed week, look forward to seeing you on the weekend.

I hope you are enjoying a great week after your Easter break. Just a quick
note to let you know this coming Sunday is a Fellowship Lunch after church.
For those of you who are unaware we have these lunches on the first Sunday
of each month to spend some time together over a meal. Come and join us for
this great time of Fellowship. Also there were some tools left at the church
after the fit-out we have been doing. I will have them at church this Sunday
ready to collect if they are yours. Thanks so much for all your help.

27/4/11
I hope you are all well and really enjoyed your Easter break. Thank you to those who brought friends and family to the Easter Sunday service. It was great to see some old friends and new faces. Now is the season for us to step into the resurrection power of Jesus Christ that He purchased for us to walk in.
Paul made this amazing statement. (the apostle not Paul Newcombe)
Phil 3:10
that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,
NKJV
Let’s make it our goal to know Him and the power of His resurrection life dwelling in us.
EQUIPING THE SAINTS
Only a couple of weeks to go before the start of “Equipping the Saints” on the 15th of May. Equipping the Saints is a foundational discipleship training course for a God honouring life of Supernatural living. It is designed to equip us with what we need to embark on the powerful life of the Spirit God intended for us all. It is a pre-requisite course for the School of the Supernatural which we will be run starting on the 31st of July. Equipping the Saints is a 7 week course, starting at 6.00pm on Sunday afternoon till 7.30pm. At the completion of the course you will receive a certificate of completion if you attended the full 7 weeks. Once the Course has started it will not be possible to join in on later weeks so it’s important to plan for it now. Along with participation at the Sunday training sessions there will be weekly activities and text book reading to complete. A minimal registration fee to cover text books and resources will be received. I will let you know how much that will be next Sunday.
This is great opportunity to grow together in the DNA of the house and embark on a life of effectiveness for His purpose. I sense in my spirit and it has been spoken over us that we have a door open to us in this season. We need to be on the same page and prepared with appropriate context to jump through that open door with a ye ha!!!! Those of you who complete this cause will be connected together and equipped for new effectiveness in Him. I would like to see as many of you as possible complete this training to prepare us for what God is about to do.
Now’s the time to organise a baby sitter and plan for 7 weeks of Sunday evenings together.
You can email me with any questions or confirmations of your attendance. There will be a sign up sheet available at church this coming Sunday.
Let’s go do this thing!!!
Don’t forget next Sunday is the last week for bringing mother’s day gifts for our local mums in need.
Love you all

Don't you just love it when God shows up. I understand He is always with us
because He lives in us, but don't you just love it when His Glory is
tangible. This last Sunday was a real blessing from the presence of the
Lord. Notice how when we worship Him freely He comes and moves through the
gifts He has placed in each one of us. Prophecy, words of Knowledge,
spiritual songs, healing, deliverance is all available to us when His Glory
comes. It was wonderful to encounter Him in our new house in that way.
As I mentioned to you last weekend we are in a season of invitation. He
say's "Draw unto Me and I will draw unto you", "Come to me all who are heavy
laden and I will give you rest for your souls", "Lift up your eyes and
see"," He who has an ear to hear let him hear what the Spirit is saying".
Isaiah say's to us
Isa 55:6
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
NKJV
Don't wait for the season when God is drawing His people closer by seaming
distant. I tell you now is the time. The Holy Spirit showed me I am like the
guy in the plane who lines up the parachutist's and say's JUMP, JUMP, JUMP,
when they are right over the target. I believe the Lord is saying to you
today "JUMP". Call upon Him while He is near.
EASTER EVENTS:
This week is Easter so don't forget our Easter Friday service in Tuart Park,
Secret Harbour at 10am. Last year there was an awesome sense of His presence
in the Park as we worshiped freely open to the public. I love that. Bring a
folding chair and a picnic lunch and lets enjoy the morning together. Feel
free to bring family and friends.
On Easter Sunday we will be celebrating the resurrection of the Lord at our
new building at 10am. Easter is always a great opportunity to invite your
friends as they are more likely to come to church than any other day of the
year. That is proven. Ps Denice and I got saved on Easter Sunday so anyone
can!
PASTORS REQUEST;
Please stand with me in prayer as I continue to pray and fast for Ps
Denice's health over the next few day. God has called me to a season of
contending for the breakthrough through prayer and fasting. Sometime we need
to fight for a breakthrough and as the church our role is to fight for each
other's breakthrough in the Spirit. Join with me as the Lord leads you.
You guys are the greatest
Hugs all round
Be very blessed

Wasn't it great to enjoy our new building this last Sunday. God has blessed
us with a great tool to facilitate kingdom growth. We need to remember that
a building is not the church. We are the church and His purpose is fulfilled
in what we do and how we live out our lives for Him.
God has really spoken to me in the last couple of weeks about pushing in and
contending for the next level of breakthrough in our lives as a church. I
feel we need to seriously fight through prayer and fasting for our release
for the next season. We have been obedient as a church and taken the ground
we were told to take by faith, now we need to stand our ground in the
authority He has given us.
Start to see our building full, people giving their lives to Jesus and being
healed as we worship. People being delivered and set free by the power of
His Spirit. Our ability to see released through faith paves a way for Gods
Spirit to work.
Josh 6:2-3
And the Lord said to Joshua: "SEE! I have given Jericho into your hand, its
king, and the mighty men of valour.
3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all
around the city once.
NKJV
At the time when God gave this instruction all they saw was a very
well-fortified city. He gave them 3 days of circling the city to see it in
faith given into their hands.
Please continue to stand with me in prayer for a great breakthrough in
Ps Denice's health.
Look forward to seeing you on Sunday

I hope you are all well and enjoying the favour of God. Several of us went to the Patricia King conference yesterday. I was really moved by Her incredible sense of compassion for those who are so badly treated and abused in the sex trade worldwide. Children as young as 2 years old raped and forced to perform sex acts and treated as totally worthless lives. Patricia has been called to take on the multi-billion dollar people smuggling sex trade and is doing an incredible job. We are called to be the church of the living God who stand against injustice and deliver mercy to the oppressed.
Luke 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
NKJV
Check out xpmission.com to see the work.
BUILDING UPDATE
I will be continuing on with the building today from about 10am. Things are going well but there is still lots to do before Sunday. Saturday will be the important time to come together and put the final parts together. We could use all the help we can get on Saturday morning. There will be stacks of cleaning, setting up chairs, curtains, ironing tags on curtains, setting up sound, lighting and general sorting of gear. Why not come down and help for a couple of hours. It would be great to see you . I will also be at the building on Friday but ring to see if I am there as I have a meeting to go to in the morning 9-10.30 and some stuff to pick up.
WE ARE NEARLY THERE

6/4/11
It was a good day down at the Church building yesterday. We really covered some ground. Sheila came down and painted the stairs, Agnelo and Mark came in after work to install some more lights and electrical stuff. Thank you so much it was a very productive day. Agnelo should probably bring his bed down as he spends most nights there. Thanks Angela for releasing him to finish the project. You guys are a great blessing.
I will be working at the church all day Thursday from 10am till late, Friday from 12 till late, Sat from 10. Don’t forget our worship and prayer time at the building at 5pm for an hour or so.
Why not join me on Thursday this week for a day of fasting in preparation for our move to the new building. God has great things in store for us in this next awesome season at Mid-Coast.
Today is the Patricia King conference in Mandurah so several of us are going down for that. There is a free night meeting on tonight if you would like to go, but I would get there fairly early. I will include the details at the end of this email.
I have been contacted by Phil Goodall who is the chaplain at Comet Bay Primary School. He has asked if as a church we would be able to help a couple of the kids from the school. They have a yr 7 trip to Canberra and there are a few families who are unable to afford to send their children who have been chosen to do the trip. They have saved part of the money but are unable to come up with the complete amount. Phil asked if we would be able to assist in any way as it would be a good way of blessing a couple of families in the school who don’t want to see their kids miss out on the trip. I will be taking up a love offering this Sunday for this purpose, so if you feel let to give would be great. It’s not often a school contact the local churches of the region asking for help. Let’s see what we can do.
Have a great week, look forward to seeing you at our new facility.
Don’t forget Saturday busy bee.
Love you guys

I hope you are enjoying the rest of the lord this week. Rene preached a great message this last Sunday on taking off the baggage of the past and enjoying the freedom found in His rest. Jesus said
Matt 11:28-29
Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
NKJV
Rest is found looking into the eyes of Jesus. Our goal is to give our lives in the service of the Kingdom enjoying the peace that comes with loving Him. With His Yoke of service comes rest.
Building Update:
I will be down at the Church building this Saturday morning from 10am. If you are available to lend a hand we have the following to do. Painting, cleaning and picking up stuff from Perth and Rockingham. Send me a text if you can make it so I can organise the right jobs. Thanks for all your help
Have a blessed week

Wasn’t it great to encounter God in the way we did this last Sunday. There was such a wonderful weight of His presence. I haven’t quite felt the same since. It’s in that place that God can shift and change our hearts and prepare us for what He is about to do. It’s interesting that we started ministering on “Wholeness” and God shows up and shifts our hearts. For many years the focus of most church services has been the preaching of the word. This is vitally important but will never be more important than allowing God to do what He wants to do. Gathering around His word is good but gathering around Him is better. God’s invitation in the word say’s
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
NKJV
What a simple invitation to encounter Him. It’s not defined by time, place or style, it’s just an invitation followed by a promise. We need to be drawing near every day of our lives and being expectant of His great purpose in us.
If you were not at church last Sunday or the week before make sure you have a listen to the messages from the web site on wholeness, “Issues of the soul” and “Dedication to Wholeness” .
PRAYER POINT:
As you will know we are believing God to make it possible for us to take over unit 4 as well as unit 3 which we now occupy. There are some people interested in buying unit 4 at the moment. They are meeting with their bank this Friday to see if they can raise the finance. If this is Gods will for us to get unit 4 as well we need to be praying that nothing will stand in our way. That God would release this unit to us. Please pray that this situation would happen according to Gods purpose for us.
THIS SUNDAY:
Don’t miss this Sunday! Come and soak up His presence and the word He has for you. You will be blessed.
Have a great week.

Good news, we finally have it. Our construction approval has been granted after 3 months, and now the fit out for the new building can commence. Praise Jesus! Thank you also for praying and believing God for this breakthrough. One thing I have learnt is that the devil does not want churches to have church buildings. Thankfully greater is He that is in us! We will start the building alterations today.
Those of you who didn’t make it to vision Sunday the pod cast will be available to listen to on the podcasts page. This is a vitally important season for us as a church so I hope you can all hear it so we are on the same page.
Don’t forget the “Australia Day”BBQ this Wednesday at the Rockingham Beach foreshore. We will meet on the grass outside the Nautilas Apartments around 11 am. Hope you can make it .
Have a very blessed day
Hugs all round

5/1/11
Happy New Year and Gods most awesome blessing to you all.
Wow what a start to the year. I am writing this to fill you in on the things that God has been doing in Ps Denice and I over the last few months that are strategic in the life of Mid-Coast City Church. I shared this journey in church last Sunday as part of our New Year direction for this vital season. So if you happened to miss church on Sunday (3rd of Jan 2011) I will fill you in. You will also be able to down load this message of our website from the "Pod Casts".
The last 3 or 4 months have been a very difficult season for Denice and I. With Denice being so run down with Ross River Virus, the sickness and death of my father and the added stresses of the building amongst many other work and life deadlines it’s been quite a time. By November 2010 we were feeling physically and emotionally exhausted. This is so unusual for me as I have pushed hard for years never feeling like I have over the last few months. I was quite concerned about being burnt out after many years of pushing hard. We hung on knowing that we had a few weeks off over Christmas to hopefully rest and recover.
Denice headed down south after finishing work in mid-December and came back to Perth to pick me up after our service on the 19th. We spent the next week relaxing, enjoying Christmas with Dan (our 18 yr od son), swimming, surfing and sleeping. After all my recreation, great surf and relaxation I still felt weighed down and like someone was sitting on my chest. Prayer and break through in the Spirit was difficult and it seemed like God was very quiet.
After Christmas Denice, Dan, Paige (Dan's girlfriend) and I travelled to Katanning to catch up with my brother Mike and his family. On the morning of the 28th of December I woke around 6am still feeling quite stressed and went out for a prayer walk through the town. I started out praying that old familiar prayer. GOD HELP PLEASE GOD HELP!!!!!!!!! I felt the Lord say “begin to edify yourself in the Spirit”. So I started to pray in tongues as I walked. Over the next few minutes an incredible peace of God washed over me filling every part of my being. Even now as I describe it to you tear fill my eyes. Such a sense of his comfort, love and care. In a few moments the Love of God restored my soul. Like a flood His love washed over me and He started to speak.
I learnt a very important lesson from that brief encounter. The Word never tells us that recreation and relaxation restores our soul. Don’t get me wrong we need to live in balance but it is GOD alone who is able to restore the soul. Ps 23: 1-3 says
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
NKJV
It’s all about HIM !!!!!!!
In Song of Solomon there is a scripture that says “You have ravished my heart with one look of your eyes”. It was like with one glance of His loving eyes he restored my soul and dissolved all my stress and anxiety.
On that same prayer walk he started to speak to me about a season of fruitfulness that we are heading into. I responded to Him with “ I just don’t have the strength God, how can I do this”. I felt Him lovingly respond, “That’s the way it needs to be”.
2 Cor 12:9
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
NKJV
As I walked I passed a long line of beautiful old English Oak trees leading up to a grand old Katanning mansion, I felt the Lord say the following. “I have planted in your life oaks of righteousness, people of great wisdom and strength that will not be uprooted when the wind is strong. I have planted around you now these oaks and I will continue to bring them and plant them in the Mid-Coast house as a line of strength & security for you. Many strong oaks will come and be planted in the line that I have already started. It will be upon you and these oaks that I will build my work in this coming season.
I feel that the Lord spoke to me about a 3 yr season of growth and fruitfulness where we are to build like we have never built before. Jesus came to earth as a man. Then through the empowering of the Holy spirit and 3 Years of doing the will of the Father changed the world. I feel led that if we commit ourselves as a church, that God will astound us with what can be done through following His purpose. He wants to use us as a vessel to display His power. He wants to show what can be done when a group of people commit completely to His purpose.
The old saying is true.....Doing the same things and expecting different results is foolishness. I believe if we commit ourselves to this season of fruitfulness we will see the harvest of souls we have dreamt about. God has personally challenged me in the following areas and I believe this is for all of us. At the start of this new year and season is a great time to get things sorted. We need to prepare ourselves for the season ahead.
- Put your personal house in order.
Decide what things need to be removed. The decision itself will deepen your roots into the things of the Spirit.
- Establish a higher level of living.
Decide on loving Jesus more, living more intimately with Him, include Him in all you do, be committed to worship and prayer on a greater level than ever before.
Decide that in 12 months you won’t recognise yourself. That the gifts of the Spirit will be flowing through you in power. Ministering Gods love and wisdom to all you come into contact with. Effective in the gifts God has given you to perform. Stir up the gift !!!!!!!!!!
- Commit yourself to serve in the House.
You have been planted in this church for this season of fruitfulness for a reason. What you carry upon your life is part of the required gifts for our effective breakthrough. Jesus said the greatest will always be the greatest servant. Come and commit yourself to serve.
We need to get to know each other. We also need to get to know those around us that we can minister too. How can we be effective if we don’t know unsaved people to minister too. If you don’t have unsaved friends get some. Join a club or get to know your neighbours.
I believe that God wants to use us as an example. Through a small group of dedicated people, determined to follow His will and purpose, we can change this region. Out of what is small and maybe week He is going to show His strength. We have the prophetic words to launch on.
- God is leading us in a season of increase
- He has opened a door which no one can shut
- There is going to be an increase of considerable multiplication
2 people in the church this last Sunday who had never come to Mid-Coast before both gave confirming words from God about increase and multiplication. It’s in the air, breathe it in.
We love you all and want you to be part of this journey with us. We want you to have a testimony of how God took this small church to become an example of His power in a 3 year period. We can do this with Gods anointing. Let the journey begin.
With much Love
